Express First Entry Uffizi Tour | Private

This was a wonderful tour for several reasons. We got lucky and the other party who was supposed to be with us, canceled, so we got the undivided attention of our tour guide. My family had to travel to another city after our tour so we needed to see the essentials of the Uffizi without a lot of time, which is why we chose the express tour. It worked. I felt we left the museum seeing core pieces and getting an understanding of their backstory. Unfortunately I booked our departure from Florence too soon after our tour and my mind was distracted by that. Our guide, Raffaela, beyond knowing her art history and how it connects to Florence culture, had a very settling presence. She detected my travel nerves and paused us to check in with staying in the moment. She has an excellent sense of others and a complete insiders perspective about Florence culture and the Uffizi. We were extremely fortunate to have her as our guide, especially under our travel circumstances. I highly recommend this tour with her.

Beautiful Morning Uffizi Tour

This is a lovely, early morning tour of the Uffizi Gallery. There are still some crowds at the start time (8 AM), but by the end (9:30 AM) they have grown exponentially and you'll be glad that you're already finished seeing all the major pieces (with time to walk around some more by yourself if desired). We were fortunate enough to be the only members of our tour (2 people), so it was basically a private tour (not the first time this happened with LivTours!) Our guide was Barbara/Babi and she was awesome! She was exceptionally kind, focused and full of knowledge about centuries of artistic styles. I especially enjoyed her explanation of the evolving styles and significance of the Annunciation paintings in the medieval/Renaissance periods. We also enjoyed chatting with her about Florence in general. You won't have time to stop by everything in just an hour and a half, but that's to be expected. We found that it was a sufficient amount of time to enjoy the Gallery and get out with plenty of time to explore Florence the rest of that day. The meeting point is easy to find in the piazza outside. Highly recommend this tour if you want to visit the Uffizi - and ask for Babi!

Uffuzi with Rafaella

This turned out to be a 1 to 1 guided tour and it was wonderful. Rafaella was so knowledgeable and such a good communicator the time just flew by. I would absolutely recommend a guided tour if you want to better understand the art history which unfolds in front of your eyes as you walk around the Uffizi. By understanding the change wrought by the renaissance on art history you not only better understand art itself but the history of Florence too. I could not recommend it more highly and a big call out for Rafaella too - she was wonderful. Brian

We chose the early morning express tour of the Uffizi while visiting Florence with our daughter, and it was absolutely perfect. The timing was just right—not too long, not too short—to cover the must-see masterpieces without feeling hurried. Our guide, Bobi, was wonderful—warm, knowledgeable, and captivating. She highlighted key artworks and shared fascinating historical insights that made the visit much more meaningful. Our daughter loved every moment too. A great bonus was having access to the museum after the tour, allowing us to explore at our leisure. I highly recommend the early tour with LivTours to avoid the crowds later in the day, and if you get Bobi, you’re in for a real treat!

A perfect start to our Uffizi experience with Barbara

Barbara was an outstanding guide who not only showcased the incredible artworks but also expertly placed them within their historical and cultural context. Her vast knowledge across the wide time span of the Uffizi’s collection really impressed us. Although the early start was a bit challenging, arriving right at opening time made the visit so much more enjoyable. Barbara also smoothly handled all ticket details, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. This tour was truly one of the highlights of our Florence trip — highly recommended!

Barbara was an excellent guide who really helped us appreciate the incredible art and its historical background. The small group and early access made the experience more enjoyable without the usual crowds. However, the very early start was a challenge for us and took some getting used to. Despite that, the tour was well worth it and a memorable part of our Florence visit.
