Sara and LivTours Appreciation!

Our group of four adults and three teenagers took this tour, and the teens were captivated the entire time thanks to Sara's extensive historical knowledge and storytelling! She was incredibly kind and patient, answering all our questions. Despite being delayed due to rain and increased traffic, the tour company checked on us multiple times to ensure we arrived safely and connected with Sara. We can't imagine visiting this venue without a guide like Sara.

Great Tour!

I'm so glad we booked this tour. It was the perfect duration for my two young boys. Navigating the hectic area was much easier with a guide who helped us get through security quickly and avoid long, hot lines. The semi-private tour allowed for direct interaction with the guide, unlike the larger groups that required headphones. I highly recommend this!

Incredible Colosseum tour that included the Arena floor!

Patrizia guided us on an incredible journey through the Colosseum, which included entering through the Gladiator's Gate and experiencing the Arena floor. She expertly shared the history with us as we explored the Roman Forum. It was an exceptional experience. We gained a wealth of knowledge and thoroughly enjoyed our time with her. This was one of three tours we booked with LivTours during our trip to Rome, and all of them were absolutely fantastic!

Standing on the arena floor felt like stepping into the shoes of a gladiator—truly amazing. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, and we were fortunate to have a fantastic group. The history was mind-blowing, and we absolutely loved this tour. Don't miss this experience in Rome; it's worth every penny. Our guide, Barbara, went above and beyond to ensure all our questions were answered and that we got great photos. She was fantastic!

Phenomenal experience!

I highly recommend this tour and our guide. Not only were the Colosseum and ruins jaw-dropping, but Dennis, our guide, was phenomenal. He was highly educated in Roman history and architecture. Additionally, he engaged the group in discussions by asking questions and inviting us to share our own inquiries. He allowed plenty of time for us to take pictures and pause to marvel at what we were seeing while he explained everything. This tour goes beyond the average tourist experience, offering a true history lesson delivered by a knowledgeable guide who can transport you back to the Roman Era with gladiators.

Lorenzo brought the Gladiator duels and the history of the Colosseum to life with remarkable detail and humor on this tour. His passion for history was contagious, and he shared it with our group through engaging stories, including a few humorous anecdotes. He also provided numerous photos to help us visualize what the Colosseum looked like in its prime. Although I attended this tour with an adult group, I can imagine children would also love the fascinating tales of gladiators, their lives, and the exotic animals used for entertainment. The tour was conducted in small groups, ensuring everyone could hear the guide clearly and ask questions freely. Observing other tour groups around the Colosseum struggling to hear or engage with their guide made me appreciate the personalized touch of this semi-private tour even more. After this experience, I’m done with large tour bookings! I entered the tour unsure of what to expect, but I left completely immersed in the history of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, eager to learn more—a testament to Lorenzo's exceptional guiding skills. Walking in the footsteps of historical figures like Julius Caesar and Marc Antony added an extra layer of excitement to the tour. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour for both young and old—an excellent experience.

Perfect Colosseum tour for families!

Julia was an outstanding tour guide for my husband and son's favorite excursion. During the tour, we had the opportunity to stand on the arena floor, view the seating areas for various groups, and explore the underground basement where animals and gladiators were kept before their performances. She provided an excellent historical overview of various aspects and made it even more engaging by connecting my son's interests in Legos and Star Wars to the Colosseum. The photographs we took were fantastic!

Ancient Rome with Deborah
