An awe inspiring slice of history

We loved our tour of the Colosseum with Julia! We chose the express tour and for my group it was the perfect length. Julia was sweet, professional and full of interesting historical facts that brought the colosseum to life. My father is not as spry as he once was and Julia was incredibly mindful of this and made sure he was comfortable and accommodated for. We did not have that same experience with other tours (not with LivTours - those were all fabulous). The small group size was perfect, intimate and made it easy to all stick together without feeling stressed about the crowds. Thank you again Julia! We had a great time.

A great and personal tour! The guide was very enthusiastic and eager to offer recommendations for other attractions. Skipping the lines was a nice perk, although much of the tour could have been explored independently.

Dario is an exceptional person who has a deep passion for Roman history. However, the tour might be a bit lengthy for young children.

Great Colosseum Tour

Our guide excellently conveyed the structure and activities of Ancient Rome, including exotic animals, gladiators, and emperors. However, the tour requires three hours of walking, numerous steps, and standing in the sun. It may not be suitable for the elderly who are not physically fit.

Sara and LivTours Appreciation!

Our group of four adults and three teenagers took this tour, and the teens were captivated the entire time thanks to Sara's extensive historical knowledge and storytelling! She was incredibly kind and patient, answering all our questions. Despite being delayed due to rain and increased traffic, the tour company checked on us multiple times to ensure we arrived safely and connected with Sara. We can't imagine visiting this venue without a guide like Sara.

Great Tour!

I'm so glad we booked this tour. It was the perfect duration for my two young boys. Navigating the hectic area was much easier with a guide who helped us get through security quickly and avoid long, hot lines. The semi-private tour allowed for direct interaction with the guide, unlike the larger groups that required headphones. I highly recommend this!

Our Express Colosseum tour, featuring the Gladiators Gate and Arena floor with Chiara F., was absolutely delightful. Chiara proved to be an exceptional guide, engaging with the children and bringing history to life in a captivating manner. The experience was so fascinating that I personally would have enjoyed a longer tour, but the Express option was just right for our children. It was a memorable experience that I highly recommend.

Incredible Colosseum tour that included the Arena floor!

Patrizia guided us on an incredible journey through the Colosseum, which included entering through the Gladiator's Gate and experiencing the Arena floor. She expertly shared the history with us as we explored the Roman Forum. It was an exceptional experience. We gained a wealth of knowledge and thoroughly enjoyed our time with her. This was one of three tours we booked with LivTours during our trip to Rome, and all of them were absolutely fantastic!

Standing on the arena floor felt like stepping into the shoes of a gladiator—truly amazing. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, and we were fortunate to have a fantastic group. The history was mind-blowing, and we absolutely loved this tour. Don't miss this experience in Rome; it's worth every penny. Our guide, Barbara, went above and beyond to ensure all our questions were answered and that we got great photos. She was fantastic!
