Highly recommended!
We had a great tour with Luca. He provides a fresh outlook and is lively and friendly. His English is excellent. We were only two plus Luca and could walk fast, so he added a few of his favorite places to our tour. Highly recommended!
- MarkExtremely happy with all our tours
We have left Italy with so many wonderful memories! Thank you for being part of helping us make those memories! We are so happy that we chose your company to book with! We will definitely keep LivTours in mind for future adventures. I appreciate the attention to detail. Even though there was the one misunderstanding about our transportation, you handled it well and it in no way marred our experience. All the guides were excellent and brought their unique personalities and passions to enhance our experience of the sites we visited.
- AndyRome walking tour
Rome is the perfect city for a walking tour. The general area where most of the major sites are located isn't that large so it's fairly easy. I wouldn't have wanted to be without a guide, however, not just for the great information that we got but also because we were led through little back streets instead of on the main thoroughfares and we would have certainly gotten lost if we'd been on our own. But thanks to our guide, the experience was very unique and memorable!
- LibbyGreat small group tour of Rome
On our trip throughout Italy, we allowed 4 days for Rome. Maybe a day or two too few but we were able to see the best and most important places. I think that having taken this walking tour at the onset of our stay was the perfect choice. We got a great idea of where everything is located and the background information from our fantastic guide so that we felt comfortable on our own for the remaining days of our stay. We booked other tours with this company in other parts of Italy and in all cases, we were very impressed with the professionalism and friendly atmosphere. We strongly recommend this company to all.

We couldn't afford a private tour but this small group tour was just as satisfying and personal. We were with another family of 3 (so 5 people in all) and it was very easy to become friendly with everyone and to interact with them and with our guide. Giulia (pronounced Julia) was just the best guide, very knowledgeable, flexible and accommodating to everyone in the group. She set the perfect pace and there were plenty of spots where we could stop and rest while she gave us background info and told funny stories about Rome and living in Rome. We couldn't have been happier with this tour!
- DarleneGreat intro to the city
We booked this walking tour for the evening of the day we had arrived in Rome, thinking it would be a great way to get to know the city. It was indeed all that we hoped and, despite our jet lag, we had a really great experience. It helped that the guide, John, was so entertaining. He knows Rome really well and has an awesome way of comunicating his knowledge and the stories that 2000+ years of history provide. We realized afterwards that with any other tour and/or guide, it might have been a disaster to try to do on the same day as our arrival but, as it turned out, it was just great!
- LouisThanks, LivItaly
We really enjoyed this tour. Everyone in our family (ages 43, 40, 16 and 14) agreed that this was the very best introduction to this unique city. Rome lends itself perfectly to a walking tour since so many things are tucked away in the midst of enchanting cobblestone alleyways which you can only get to on foot. But this walking tour is even more special because you are in a small group and can take it at your own pace, spending more time in some places and less time in others. Our guide Giulia was born and raised in Rome but studied in the USA so perfectly bi-lingual, no accent and was able to share with us her unique insight into the differences between life in Italy and in the states. We were enchanted with her and with the city and will remember this experience for the rest of our lives.
- Debbie C.Strolling through Rome
Rome is a great place for a walking tour and this particular tour was amazing. As you turn a corner, there's another breathtaking monument or fountain or square. Rachel was our guide and she was such a lovely person and so knowledgeable about roman history. She's originally from the US but has lived all over the world so she was an extremely interesting person to talk to. The other couple in our group were from Australia and very interesting people as well. We felt stimulated throughout the tour and loved to see and learn about the city as we strolled. Will recommend this tour to all.

Melanie was friendly, very knowledgeable about the city and life as a Roman through history and now. She paced the tour for everyone’s needs, and was attentive to all. We did a small group walking tour in the evening which was a great introduction to the city, very comfortable (weather-wise) and a great way to learn useful tips (like how to choose a good restaurant and authentic gelato!). We would highly recommend this tour and Melanie to anyone.
- WarnerFun walking tour with honey gelato!
We met Tom for our Walking tour and it was just the two of us and Tom. We were so happy that Livitaly does not cancel if they do not book enough people, as we know other companies do. Tom wove us through the city surprising us at each turn. The Pantheon is stunning. He provided us with an extensive history of the Trevi Fountain. He was very knowledgeable of each point of interest. Tom also found the best gelato in Rome. Try the honey gelato! A fabulous experience!
