The Gelato Stop Sealed the Deal

I’ll be honest—I signed up mostly for the gelato. But I was pleasantly surprised at how engaging and detailed the tour was. Learning about Brunelleschi’s dome while standing right beneath it gave me chills.

Perfect First Night in Florence

We booked this tour for our first evening in the city, and it helped us get oriented right away. Chiara shared great tips on where to eat and shop, and her knowledge of art history was incredible. The gelato was an extra treat.

History, Humor, and Hazelnut Gelato

We laughed a lot thanks to our guide Marco’s quick wit. He had a way of making even complex historical facts feel relatable. Ending at the Duomo with the night sky above was like something out of a painting.

A Well-Paced Evening with Stunning Sights

After a hot day of traveling, this evening tour was just right. Not too long, lots of shaded areas, and such beautiful views across the river. The guide, Luca, kept things light but informative.

Walking Through Time

From the statues in Piazza della Signoria to the old bridges over the Arno, everything felt steeped in stories. I appreciated how the guide, Giulia, balanced history with humor. Florence at dusk is unforgettable.

A Perfect Intro to Florence

I did the Florence Evening Tour with my husband and our 23-year-old daughter, and it was a real highlight. Our guide, Aldo, was fantastic—warm, passionate, and full of amazing stories. As we walked, he pointed out so many little details in the art and architecture that we would’ve completely missed on our own. We started in Piazza della Signoria with the Medici family history (wild stuff), then made our way to the Duomo complex. Tons of detailed insight from Aldo. From there, we followed the Vasari Corridor from start to finish, all the way to the Pitti Palace. It was so cool to trace its path above the streets and over the Ponte Vecchio. Once we crossed the Arno, the energy shifted—the Santo Spirito side feels quieter, more local. We wandered through the neighborhoods. It’s a great overview-style tour, especially if it’s your first time in Florence. It helped us get our bearings and figure out where we’d want to go deeper later. Aldo also had tons of great restaurant suggestions—clearly someone who knows (and loves) this city well. And yes, we ended the night with gelato, of course. A perfect evening. Highly recommend - especially at 5PM. --The lighting for photos is spectacular.

Florence Through a Local’s Eyes

Elena grew up in Florence and it showed. She told us about her childhood memories in the Piazza della Repubblica and even showed us her favorite café. It was a beautiful, relaxed evening that made us feel like we belonged there.

Loved the Blend of Art, History, and Everyday Life

I’ve been to Florence before, but this evening tour made it feel brand new. We saw kids playing in the piazza, artists sketching near the river, and locals chatting at cafes. Giulia’s explanations made complex history easy to follow.

Evening Calm, Artistic Soul

I loved seeing Florence when the streets were a little quieter and cooler. The loggia sculptures looked almost alive in the golden light. Davide even shared a few book recommendations for Renaissance art lovers.

A Sweet Way to End the Day

Our guide Luca made the city’s layers of history feel personal. We especially enjoyed seeing where Michelangelo’s David originally stood. The gelato—tiramisu flavor for me—was some of the best I’ve ever had.
