THIS is an Incredible Experience

Wow, was this a great choice! We toured the Vatican a year ago with a large group and a different tour company. We felt we missed a lot being in a group and could have gained more from a private tour so we booked this tour with LivTours. We made an excellent decision! LivTours has been great for us; starting in Venice, continuing in Florence, and now concluding in Rome. Every guide has been phenomenal and unforgettable, and Ribal is no different. His ability to navigate the Vatican, stay on schedule without ever making us feel rushed, and secure our access to the secret/hidden/rarely-seen rooms was awe-inspiring. Ribal speaks six languages, and several were on display as we efficiently moved through and past large groups. His is English is so precise I (wrongly) presumed he was from the US. This made our tour even better as we never needed him to repeat anything. On the advice of LivTours, we separately booked dome climb tickets directly through the St. Peter's Basilica website so that we could experience that when our tour ended. When we finished with Ribal, we had over an hour before our scheduled dome climb time, so he spoke with the Basilica staffperson handling dome entry and swiftly secured our early access up to the top! Vatican Tour with Patrizia

We took the Deluxe Vatican Tour with Secret Rooms with Patrizia. The tour was simply amazing and full of so many hidden gems, incredible facts and she was so knowledgeable and super personable! We enjoyed every second of our time with Patrizia (who everyone knew) and would go many more times! You could spend days and days in each area of the Vatican Museum and St. Peter’s Basilica…a total highlight on the tour! Patrizia is an incredible guide and a wonderful resource! Highly recommend this experience!!

More Intimate Than I Expected

Even though the Vatican is normally packed, this tour felt peaceful. Being able to step into spaces off-limits to others created a sense of intimacy I wasn’t expecting.

I booked it for the secret rooms, but the entire tour was excellent. From the first sculpture to the final steps inside St. Peter’s, everything was insightful.

We got some incredible photos in spots we would never have found on our own. Our guide pointed out quiet corners and helped us capture beautiful, crowd-free moments. Our guide was also incredibly knowledgeable.
