Vatican complex tour

Sabrina was my guide for the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica tour. She was very knowledgeable and friendly and I really enjoyed the organization and pace of the tour. It was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Rome!

We learned so much!

Yesterday was an amazing tour! Michaela was wonderful, very, very knowledgable and super friendly. We learned so much information about the Vatican and history of the Bible. I feel very grateful to have had the opportunity to be there. Mikaela answered so many questions, we never missed out on anything she was saying and she had all of the answered! Thank you!

THE Vatican Tour to take

We had the most moving and special experience visiting the Vatican because we were lucky enough to take our tour with Sev. Sev is deeply knowledgeable, patient (with 10,000 questions from us and our 2 kids), thoughtful of everyone’s particular interests, generous with his time, and enviably connected with officials at the Vatican to help you smoothly tour rooms not available to the public! We are so grateful to have had the chance to meet Sev and learn what he had to share. It brought the Vatican and all its treasures very much to life for all of us. The Vatican is the moment to do a tour and this is the one to take.

Excellent deluxe tour

If you are going to book a private tour of the Vatican museum and Sistine Chapel, go the extra yard and book this "deluxe" tour with the secret rooms. We loved every minute of our tour and our guide, Gio, was simply awesome! It's definitely worth the extra cost!

Engaging and inspiring

We brought our nephew to Rome with us this year and booked two very excellent tours with LivItaly while there. This particular vatican tour offered access to special rooms that aren't normally open and we were quite impressed with the incredible masterpieces that we were allowed to see. Our tour guide was Giulia and she was a Godsent. A lovely young woman, always with a warm smile and a very broad range of knowledge and expertise. We loved every minute we spent with her and went away with new insight and inspiration. We have recommended this tour to many fellow travelers to Rome.

Since seeing the Vatican was a once-in-a-lifetime-event for both my husband and I, we splurged and booked this deluxe tour with LivItaly. Everything about the tour was FABULOUS! The organization, booking and meet-up went without a hitch, our guide was excellent in every way, we felt we saw the most important parts of the entire Vatican complex and went away with renewed appreciation for the beauty and splendor that is contained within the Vatican walls. If you can manage it, a private tour is the best way to go. Otherwise, this same company offers small group tours (no more than 6) so that would certainly be the second best way to go! Either way, make sure you book with LivItaly! You won't be disappointed.

A perfect day

Our tour was excellent from beginning to end. We were collected by a very friendly driver and we parked right by our guide who was waiting for us at the entrance to The Vatican Museums. Our guide, Luca, was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. His English was very good indeed. I am not sure how anyone could visit the Vatican Museum without a guide - there is just so much to see over such a big area. Luca was able to take us to the right places at the right time so we were able to get the most out of our visit. I would not hesitate to recommend Livitaly and Luca.

A memorable experience!

We took the Vatican and Sistine Chapel tour with Davide and it was fantastic!!! Six hours and we are all still smiling in all of our pictures. I don’t know how he does it but he was patient and informative and funny and enthusiastic the entire afternoon. Many, many thanks, LivItaly for experiences we will never forget!!!!
