Best London tour

I met my brothers in London for a week of tourism and fun. We booked this walking tour since it sounded intriguing. It was definitely a unique experience and a tour we can recommend to you. Very interesting and entertaining.

London's dark past

Livtours offers two walking tours in London and both sounded really interesting: the Hidden London tour and the Dark Past tour. We chose the latter and we were really happy we did. It was intriguing and fascinating to hear all about London's past -- some things quite sinister and some quite sad too. But always captivating especially as told to us by our guide, Thomas. As he said, all of these stories and events have contributed to make London what it is today so if you are interested in an indepth understanding of the city, this tour is the way to get it. Definitely 5 stars!

Unique experience

We really had a good time on this tour. So much history, so many really fascinating stories, so many things to see and explore. If you are a history buff, like us, you'll love it. Small groups are the only way to go.

Unforgettable experience! London's "dark past" is fascinating and our guide, Richard, was the perfect story teller. He made everything come alive!! We were in a group of 6 -- just the perfect size. Can't recommend this tour enough!

Had a great time

A very creative tour! There's so much literature and so many films that take place in a London of past years, many of which portray a dark and sinister city. Our guide was so good at stimulating our imaginations with his creative story-telling and wonderfully descriptive characters. Everyone in our little group of 4 was hanging on his every word and each person was just as enthralled (and entertained) as we were. We had a great time and will recommend to all.

HIghlight of our time in London

If you like reading, this tour brings the atmosphere and the characters of English literature, past and present, to life. The walking tour takes place in the area known as the East Side which, with its colorful past and multicultural present, is awesome and really ignites your imagination! Our guide Thomas is a local guy, very intelligent and knowledgeable and also very entertaining and provocative. We thought this tour was a highlight of our stay in London.
