Perfect Afternoon on the Riviera
Sailing along the Cinque Terre on a private boat was the highlight of our Italy trip. Our skipper, Marco, was both professional and warm, pointing out hidden coves and sharing local stories that gave the scenery even more depth. We dropped anchor near a small waterfall where my teenagers jumped right into the turquoise water, while I sipped a chilled glass of white wine on deck. The boat had plenty of shade and space, and the snacks provided were simple but delicious. It felt like we had the coastline to ourselves—peaceful, intimate, and unforgettable.
