TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before booking any services with LivTours dba LivItaly Tours LLC. By proceeding with your booking and payment, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you have any doubts or disputes regarding these Terms and Conditions before booking, we recommend contacting us prior to finalizing your reservation and submitting payment.
BLACK FRIDAY
LivTours Black Friday offers are valid from November 27 6 a.m. EST until December 3 11:59 p.m. EST 2024, and are valid on online purchases from the LivTours.com website. The discount can not be combined with any other discount, promotion or offer, or on purchases made through any other websites. The discount is not applicable to standalone Transfer products. The discount is not redeemable for cash, or against any purchases made prior to November 27th or after December 3rd 2024, including pre-purchased gift cards which may be redeemed during this period. **For Travel Agents, only GROSS, non customized bookings made on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 will be eligible to earn standard commission rates calculated based on a 10% off Black Friday discount rate.
COUPONS, DISCOUNTS, SALES
Coupons are only applicable to direct sales on our website unless otherwise stated. Coupons and discounts cannot be combined unless otherwise stated. Some coupons expire while others do not, please see specific terms as outlined in email communications.
LIABILITY
LivTours is not responsible for any personal injury, loss or damage to luggage, or loss of life during our services. We are not liable for any inconvenience, delay, or issues caused by events beyond our control or not preventable through reasonable diligence, such as war, strikes, floods, severe weather, or other natural disasters.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We provide two distinct booking options, one of which is refundable (default option when booking more than 24 hrs prior to the tour), while the other is non-refundable. The refundable booking option extends liability coverage in the event that you are unable to participate in the tour, provided that the cancellation occurs at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled tour or service commencement (local time). In cases of last-minute cancellations, regardless of the underlying reason, LivTours does not provide compensation. Therefore, we strongly recommend that all travelers consider acquiring comprehensive travel insurance, inclusive of medical and personal coverage, to safeguard against unforeseen expenses such as medical bills, emergency flights, and the loss of luggage or personal belongings.
AD HOC MESSAGING
By checking the box to “Receive important updates via SMS” on the checkout page, you agree to receive ad hoc messages from LivTours. These messages (including SMS and WhatsApp) may include, but are not limited to, order confirmations, logistical updates, and other important information related to your tours.
By providing your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from LivTours. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
LivTours does not share your phone number with any third parties. Your phone number is used solely for the purpose of communicating with you regarding your order.
LivTours does not use your phone number for marketing purposes. You will only receive messages related to your order.
LATE ARRIVALS: SEMI-PRIVATE TOURS
Your voucher will contain detailed meeting information, and we advise arriving 15 minutes prior to the tour’s start time. LivTours cannot guarantee the availability of your guide if you arrive late, and late arrivals may result in a loss of tour. In such cases, we are not responsible for any refunds, partial refunds or rescheduling.
LATE ARRIVALS: PRIVATE TOURS
If you anticipate a delay, it is your responsibility to contact us by phone on one of the phone numbers provided on our contact us page. For Private Tours, your guide is reserved for the scheduled time and can wait during the delay, with the delay time subtracted from the total tour duration. Last-minute rescheduled pick-up times or dates may incur additional charges.
LATE ARRIVALS: TRANSFER SERVICES
You are responsible for promptly notifying us of any anticipated delays. While our drivers diligently monitor flight schedules, they are prepared to wait for a period of up to 1 hour from the scheduled arrival time. If, however, the delay extends beyond this 1-hour window, the driver reserves the right to depart in order to fulfill other previously scheduled commitments. In such circumstances, neither refunds nor rescheduling options will be extended. As a result, we strongly advocate that all travelers consider obtaining comprehensive travel insurance to mitigate potential inconveniences arising from unforeseen delays.
PROOF OF AGE & GOVERNMENT ISSUED ID
Please carry your government ID with you on tours. For tours that include tickets, you will often need to prove your name. Additionally, your ID can prove your age which you may have to do for yourself or your children on the day of the tour. Ages indicated must match the participants’ ages on the travel date. Teenagers and children under 18 must present a valid photocopy of their ID, while students (age 18-26) must show a valid original student ID.
COLOSSEUM UNDERGROUND
The release of Colosseum tickets is subject to restrictions by the superintendency of Cultural Affairs and Sites. Tickets must be named upon purchase with no modifications allowed, including guide tickets. While we will do our best to meet your requested starting time and service preference, flexibility may be required on your part. In the event that underground guide tickets are unavailable, you will be accompanied by a Colosseum staff member for the underground portion. LivTours does not offer reimbursement in such cases. If underground tickets cannot be secured at all, we will offer cancellation with a full refund or an alternative tour with exclusive arena access and partial reimbursement.
ORDER OF SITES VISITED
Our tour descriptions aim to eloquently describe the tour, its sites, and its evolution. On rare occasions the order of sites visited may be changed or altered due to safety or logistical reasons, and is at the discretion of the tour guide.
EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL
Weather
Our tours and experiences run rain or shine; sometimes it may be necessary to make minor adjustments to the itinerary to ensure your safety. These changes do not entitle customers to any refund or compensation.
Unforeseen Closures or Strikes
In the event of the unexpected closure of a site or attraction on the day of your tour, your guide will provide an alternative itinerary. In such circumstances, you cannot request any refund or compensation. This includes closures of religious sites for private events and liturgical reasons.
MUSEUM/SITE TICKETS
In the unlikely event that tickets are unavailable, LivTours will contact you to provide an alternative date or offer a tour cancellation with a full refund.
DISCOUNTS
Discounts or promotional codes must be applied before making a purchase and cannot be applied retroactively.
LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS
We strive to fulfill last-minute requests. In the rare event that we cannot accommodate your request due to unavailable guides or tickets, we will promptly contact you to discuss alternatives or provide a full refund.
OUR SMALL GROUP POLICY
All LivTours Semi-Private Group Tours are limited to 6 guests per tour guide. Our commitment to maintaining our uniquely tiny group sizes can sometimes be a little tricky, mathematically speaking. For example, we want to ensure that traveling families and friends can tour together so on rare occasions we may add one or two guests in order to not split groups. On that same note, you may also find yourself on tour with less than six people.
Additionally, we are offering two very special Semi Private tours: early morning Vatican entries that are 10 people max. This is due to the very special nature of the product. We are happy to discuss this further.
