Your private tour of Rome in a day begins in front one the iconic Colosseum. You will have priority access, only having to pass a quick security check before diving into the ancient Roman world around you. Your guide will tell stories of gladiator and animal fights as well as theater performances that took place right where you are standing. Walk up to the higher levels and experience the amazing views the noble Romans would have enjoyed, all while looking over the Palatine Hill and Roman Forum.
Known as ancient Rome’s most exclusive neighborhood, Palatine Hill is still covered by the ruins of Emperor Domitian’s palace. You will discover the wonders of the Forum, including the Temple of Julius Caesar, all in the company of your expert guide.
As you finish up, hop in to your waiting chauffeured Mercedes that will take you through the cobblestone-lined heart of Rome allowing you to admire the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and the Pantheon, as you experience the hustle and bustle of daily Roman life.
Your chauffeur will take you to your next stop, The Vatican. But before entering you will take a quick stop for lunch and to recharge. After, your day continues by visiting the Vatican with skip-the-line tickets. Please note that lunch is not included in the price of your tour.
