Your magical Seville evening of Flamenco and tapas begins with meeting your expert english-speaking guide at the famous La Giralda and then heading out for some of Seville’s culinary delights. While dining, you will learn all about the sweeping and fascinating folkloric history of Flamenco, a traditional art form that originated with the Andalusian Roma people. Flamenco has now become one of the most famous cultural symbols of Spain and is a mixture of dancing, poetry, music and singing. Famous for exquisite guitar playing, dramatic dance steps and castanets, as well as fabulously flamboyant dresses, a traditional Flamenco show is a not-to-be-missed experience on a trip to the beautiful city of Seville.
Before the show you will go on a walking tour of the Sant Cruz district. Santa Cruz, Seville’s most historic district, is a charming maze of colorful cobbled streets, lined with shops selling ceramics, crafts and souvenirs. It is home to several famous World Heritage monuments, including Alcazar, the incredible Renaissance-Moorish palace and Seville’s magnificent Gothic cathedral. With your expert, local private guide, you’ll soak up the buzzing evening atmosphere as you stop at several tapas bars for delicious tastings of authentic Andalusian tapas dishes – like octopus and Iberian cheeses, local wines and beers.
