Capri Tour from Naples | Semi-Private Full Day Experience
The LivTours Capri Tour is an exceptional semi-private experience that blends sunshine, delicious food, a scenic boat ride, and rich history, all enjoyed in an intimate group of no more than six guests. This is an opportunity to truly live Capri rather than simply visit it. Set just off the Gulf of Naples near Sorrento, the island offers an ideal day trip filled with culture, sea, and sun. The ferry journey is a highlight in itself, featuring sweeping views of the dramatic coastline and postcard-worthy scenery at every turn. This stretch of coast is celebrated for its local artisans, sailors, opera singers, limoncello, and outstanding cuisine, with Capri especially renowned for all of these traditions.
Just a short distance from Naples, the island of Capri served as a treasured retreat for Roman Emperor Augustus, who enhanced the island with the construction of villas, temples, aqueducts, and ornamental gardens. After the fall of the Roman Empire, Capri experienced periods of both prosperity and hardship, including repeated pirate attacks, until Napoleon transformed it into a defensive port in the early 19th century. By the late 1800s, the island had earned its reputation as an exclusive and tranquil holiday destination, a status it has maintained ever since. With a population of just over 12,000 residents, Capri continues to captivate visitors through its unique blend of artistic spirit, rugged landscapes, and crystal-clear blue waters.

Only a short journey from Naples, Capri was once a favored sanctuary of the Roman Emperor Augustus, who adorned the island with villas, temples, aqueducts, and beautifully designed gardens. Following the collapse of the Roman Empire, Capri went through cycles of growth and difficulty, including frequent pirate raids, until Napoleon converted it into a fortified harbor in the early 1800s. By the end of the 19th century, the island had established itself as a refined and peaceful getaway, a reputation it still enjoys today. Home to just over 12,000 inhabitants, Capri continues to enchant travelers with its creative energy, dramatic terrain, and brilliantly clear blue waters.

All LivTours Semi-Private Group Tours are capped at six guests per tour guide. Our commitment to maintaining this uniquely tiny group size can sometimes be a little tricky, mathematically speaking. On that same note, you may also find yourself on tour with less than six people! We thank you for your understanding and flexibility.
